Do patrol robots replace security guards?
They change what the guards do. The robot runs the repetitive patrol and watches the fence line; humans handle judgment, response, and the posts that need a person. Most deployments cover posts the client could not keep staffed anyway.
Where do autonomous drones fit?
Alarm response on large sites. When a sensor trips, the drone is over the scene in seconds and streams what it sees to the operator, which turns most alarms into a fast confirm-or-dismiss instead of a dispatch. The supplier's program covers the regulatory approvals the site needs.
What kind of site justifies a patrol robot?
